Updated: January 7, 2009
Dothan Police are still searching for a pair of men they believe are connected with an armed robbery that took place over the holidays. It happened at the Food Basket on Columbia Highway. Police say the victim drove to the store with a relative, and was approached by a man wearing a mask and dark clothing. The suspect then showed that he was armed with a 22-caliber hand gun and demanded money. After an altercation the suspects fled the scene. They got away before police could arrive. Police believe that 28-year old Quinton Parrish and 19-year old Taurus Simpson may be connected to the incident, and want them for questioning. Both men are from Dothan and have previous criminal records. If you have any information regarding the robbery or the suspects, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 793-7000, or the DPD at 615-3000.
