NAVY TESTING HELICOPTERS AT FT. RUCKER

Yesterday was a day of firsts for the folks at Fort Rucker. The base received an important visit from the Navy. Army and Navy personnel were there testing medical equipment on the Navy`s MH-60 Sierra Helicopter. The MH-60, which is the same as the Army`s UH-60, has never before been equipped for medical evacuation purposes. Personnel from Helicopter Support Squadron Eight at Norfolk, Virginia, were here to test litter support systems and medical equipment on Navy helocopters, with the help of medical staff from Fort Rucker.
