Alabama troopers are spread thin these days, and the Department of Public Safety is now looking to add some new officers to the force.
If you are interested in a new career, here`s what they are looking for. You must have a high school diploma or GED, and be 21 years of age by April 16, 2005.
Applicants must pass a written exam and a physical agility test. Upon meeting all of the pre-qualifications, applicants must successfully pass 800 hours of intensive training.
The Department of Public Safety says they offer a competitive salary and great benefits.
