AVIATOR INSTRUCTOR PLACED ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE

A hearing has been set for next month between officials with Enterprise-Ozark Community College and an aviation instructor. Jimmy Nichols has been placed on administrative leave with pay from the college after allegations surfaced about Nichols falsifying one student`s records. Nichols tells WDHN News, with the number of students he deals with, it may or may not have happened, adding, if it did, it was an honest mistake. Nichols has taught at the college for 18-years, and says he has a spotless record. Some students are said to be upset that Nichols has been placed on leave. Meanwhile College President, Dr. Stafford Thompson declined comment, since the case is still pending.
