It looks like the Geneva County Sheriff`s office may have a murder investigation on their hands.
The body of an older woman was discovered in a wooded area, about 50 yards off a dirt road in the Lowery Community in Geneva County near Kinston.
The victim is a white female...55-70 years of age with salt and pepper hair. She`s five feet five inches tall, and about 140 pounds. She has injuries to the head and left leg, possibly from an earlier accident.
She has also had her gallbladder removed, has had children and has also had radiation treatment for breast cancer.
