By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A crime that is effecting area businesses in our area is shoplifting which always seem to increase at this time of year. This past weekend wasn`t any diffrent than any other weekend in December...malls were crowded, people were shopping and store clerks were busy, and so were officers at the Dothan Police Department...but they weren`t shopping...they were looking for shoplifters and found several. The DARC will be patrolling throughout the holiday season, and ask that if you feel threatened, call the police. This week they caught four shoplifters and recovered $1100 dollars in merchandise. Those arrested were booked into the Dothan City Jail.
