POLICE CHIEF INVESTIGATION BY PERSONNEL BOARD

Updated: January 7, 2009
After spending more than 80 thousand dollars in legal fees investigating Police Chief John White, the City Commission says, "enough". They told City Manager Mike West yesterday that they are through picking up the tab. West says he`ll send the Personnel Board a formal letter informing them of that decision. So where does that leave the matter? West says he intends to sort through a stack of information provided by the Personnel Board, and will begin interviewing those connected with certain allegations this week. He expects to have the whole thing wrapped up by the end of December.
