MAN ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF TWO YOUNG GIRLS

Police have put a man from Headland behind bars, accused of sexually abusing two young girls. 36-year old Harold Baxter Carter of 115 Railroad Avenue, is charged with sexual abuse first degree and four counts of first degree sodomy. The alleged victims are six and nine years old. They told investigators the abuse occured over the last two years. Dothan police made the arrest and say further charges are pending. Carter is being held on bonds totaling a half million dollars.
