ALABAMA MARINE KILLED IN IRAQ

It is now confirmed that one of two U. S. Marines killed in Iraq on Thanksgiving Day is an Alabama native. Twenty-year-old Lance Corporal Brad Faircloth from Mobile, was a member of the First Battalion, Eighth Marines, Alpha Company, Third Platoon. He was reportedly killed while searching for insurgents in Falluja. Faircloth joined the Marines last October, and has earned two Purple Hearts within the last month.
