FAMILY DOLLAR ON WESTGATE PARKWAY ROBBED

The Family Dollar store on Westgate Parkway got off to a bad start yesterday, as shortly before 10 a. m. a strong-armed robbery went down. Witnesses say a man robbed one of the clerks at gunpoint. Police are now searching for a black male between 20 and 25 years old. He was wearing a two-toned brown sweater with a green toboggan and cowboy boots. He is described as five feet six inches with a small build. If you have any information, you are asked to call the DPD, or Crimestoppers at 793-7000.
