THANKGIVING TRAVEL

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A sure sign that America is getting back on her feet after the terror attacks of 9/11...experts are predicting a huge volume of travel this upcoming holiday. In fact, Triple A says that expected increases in air and auto travel will push Thankgiving travel volumes above pre 9/11 levels for the first time. They estimate over 37 million people will travel at lest 50 miles during the holiday. This figure is projected in spite of the increase in air fares, hotel rates and gas prices since this time last year. They say renewed confidence in both the economy and airline security, will fuel this year`s holiday rush.
