State troopers say they are seeing a sharp rise in "fatal" wrecks across Alabama. They say 12 people died on state highways in the first three days of November alone....just Monday, two people died in an accident near Malvern.
Locally, police told News 18, they`ve seen a dramatic increase in wrecks over the last few days because of congestion from the Peanut Festival...which has led to a lot of tailgating and other forms of reckless driving.
