STATE VOTER TURNOUT EXPECTED TO BE HIGH

It looks like the polls are running over with Alabama voters today...State election officials say Alabamians have registered to vote this year in record numbers, and that will likely result in a very high voter turnout. Election officials do want to remind residents to take identification to the polls this year...a law passed to show I. D., such as a driver`s license, or other state issued I. D., such as a passport, a residential bill statement of a Social Security Card. Polls opened at 7:00 A.M. this morning and will close at 7:00 P. M. this evening.
