Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center opened it`s doors yesterday and welcomed in the public for a ribbon-cutting and special tour. The Wiregrass Rehab Center held it`s Annual Meeting, which recognizes their sucesses over the past year, as well as those with disabilities. The ribbon cutting was held in honor of remodeling that`s taken place in the rennovated "Lion`s Hall." They added around 12-thousand square feet to the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services, and to do that, they also had to remodel the Administrative Building. Jack Sasser, Administrator of the Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center, said that this project was important because it conveys to the community tht they are doing those things that are non-profit, and the things they will do in the future would be outlined in the Annual Report. After the ribbon cutting and tour, guests were able to watch a virtual tour program of the center, and of the adult care program they offer.
