LOCAL MAN ARRESTED FOR FIRST DEGREE RAPE

A Dothan man, 40-year old David William Stewart, has been arrested and charged with first degree rape. He is accused of sexually assaulting an acquaintance here in Dothan. He was booked into the city jail and later handed over to county authorities. He is being held on no bond, and police say other charges could be forthcoming.
