FLU VACCINE SHORTAGE

The shortage of the flu vaccine hits home for the folks at Fort Rucker...military personnel at the post are now waiting for a shipment of the vaccine.
The base will only receive a limited amount due to the national shortage...Lyster Army Community Hospital officials say they will follow Defense Department directives, in which groups will receive flu shots until the shortage ends.
First priority will be given to military personnel who are deployed, those going to be deployed, and staff that`s considered critical to national defense.
