DA BOYD WHIGHAM LEAVING COURTROOM

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
District Attorney Boyd Whigham of the 3rd Judicial Court of Alabama, bid a farewell to colleagues during a surprise appreciation party on his behalf. Leura Canary, U. S. Attorney of the Middle District, made a special trip to personally thank Whigham for his years of service. Others in attendance were Russell County D.A. Ken Davis, Whigham`s lifelong friend, and Assistant D. A. Ben Reeves, who will soon fill Whigham`s shoes. They had plenty to say about Whigham`s dedication to finding justice for the citizens of Barbour and Bullock Counties. Whigham built a twelve year career as District Attorney, and has no plans of actually retiring...in fact, he will switch shoes with Reeves as Assistant D. A., but on a part-time basis.
