By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A new program from The American Red Cross is helping local families connect with their out-of-state love ones during time of a crisis. The "Connect Program" takes the average emergency card in your wallet a step further, by providing cards and information sheets that go in very practical places, from the glove compartment of your car, to the bottom of your seat at work. It is a program that the local Red Cross Director says every Wiregrass resident should be a part of. You can go to redcross.org to purchase the "Connect Program" which includes a bag of goodies and nnecessities, like water, which during a time of crisis could save your life. The cost is 34 dollars, which can keep you and five other family members connected during a time of crisis.
