Police in Ashford say they are not letting some weekend vandals slip through their fingers...they are looking for the culprits of a messy and dangerous prank over the weekend at Ashford High School.
Sometime after Friday, someone broke into the school`s gym, and poured several gallons of cooking oil all over the gym floor and on a set of stairs.
Ashford police were not amused...in fact, they`re calling it a serious case of vandalism. The school recently spent 3500 dollars refinishing the floor and the cleanup could run as high as a thousand dollars.
Police do have some leads and a reward may be offered to help get the case settled.
