It has been a year of transition for Troy University...and yesterday, Troy`s Chancellor Jack Hawkins spoke about all of those changes at the Dothan Rotary Club.
Chancellor Hawkins talked about the new direction the University is taking. For the record, he wants everyone to know that the school previously known as Troy State-Dothan has changed much more than just it`s name. Hawkins said that there will be more dramatic changes in the future, than they have had in the past...the Chancellor says that by uniting all of Troy`s campuses, the school will be able to save time, effort and money. He expects to save somewhere around 30 million dollars, and he also pointed out that Troy is nationally recognized, and converging the campuses will only make that recognition stronger.
