OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

October marks a very important month for women everywhere...that`s because its "Breast Cancer Awareness Month". Some local events that are coming up this month will be October 14th.... the "Pink Tie Preview" at Walton Park Recreation Center... a free breast cancer awareness event...it includes free food, exhibits with all the latest information on breast cancer, and several speakers. They will also be promoting breast cancer screening programs for women who qualify. Then, on October 19th, it`s the Fifth Annual Coffee County Breast Cancer Forum, with door prizes, lunch, and free educational credit. For more information on both events, you may call 334-393-8538.
