Coffee County authorities have an even bigger drug bust....this time in the Coffee County town of Elba.
34-year old Kevin Martinez of San Antonio, Texas was arrested after a routine traffic stop along Hwy. 84 in Elba. Troopers found 10 kios or 22 pounds of cocaine in the suspect`s truck.
It happened Saturday morning shortly after 1 a. m. Authorities believe the suspect was in the area due to the recent detour of traffic off of I-10 which comes right through Elba.
Martinez is charged with trafficking a controlled substance...street value is estimated at more than 300-thousand dollars.
He is in the Coffee County jail on a million dollar bond.
