RED CROSS NEEDS HELP IN RECOVERY EFFORTS

Of course the destruction that Frances brought ashore was seen in Central Florida where thousands remain without power, and many without a home. The Red Cross says people are reaching out to give aid to families who are dealing with the storm`s aftermath. The chair of the local Red Cross says the organization needs your financial contributions to help in the recovery efforts. Money is what the Red Cross needs the most in order to best help in the situation...they say food, clothing and household items are helpful, but because volunteers are so overshelmed by the many needs of Floridians, they don`t have time to clean and process those items. You can donate to the Red Cross by calling 1-800 HELP NOW, or go to www.redcross.org. You can also visit their local office located on Montezuma Street here in Dothan.
