METHAMPHETAMINE BUST

The Houston County Sheriff`s Department made a handful of arrests after finding a substantial amount of methamphetamine during a traffic stop. Following a one month investigation, Houston County Deputies pulled the suspects over, and executed a search warrant. Through that search, they were able to seize a meth lab and 300-thousand dollars worth of meth oil. Arrested for trafficking, manufacturing and possessing the substance, were Ricky, Francis and Daniel Smith. All lived in a home on Mattie Lane in Dothan. Also arrested, Thomas and Jean Dickie, both of Youngstown, Florida. Houston County Sheriff Lamar Glover told News 18, he is very satisfied with this latest meth bust. All arrested, are in the Houston County Jail under a one hundred thousand dollar bond. Both Dothan and Taylor Police Departments assisted in this investigation.
