I-10 CONNECTOR IN SPOTLIGHT

Representatives from the Department of Transportation met with local officials at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce yesterday for final reviews and comments on the I-10 Project. D.O.T. representative Ronnie Baldwin says a lot of very important aspects come into play, like wetland and farmland impacts, and those are factors before ground is even broken on the project. The estimated cost of the project sits at 150 to 200 million dollars. D.O.T. officials say they are simply waiting on the funds to become available.
