A new convenience could be on the way for patrons of places like the Dothan Civic Center, Water World and Westgate Recreation Center.
If you`ve attended an event at the Civic Center, or gone to Water World or Westgate Rec Center, and come up short on cash, you quickly found out there are no ATM`s on site.
That could soon change, if the City Commission approves the installation of ATM machines at these sites.
Anne Rumble of Dothan Leisure services says that in dealing with large numbers of people coming into an attraction, they take credit cards at the front gate, but once they get inside, they don`t bring enough money.
The Commercial Bank of Dothan and The Bank of Alabama are the two ATM companies offering the services to the city.
The commission is expected to make a decision on the cash machines at next week`s administrative meeting.
