DRUG BUST IN COTTONWOOD LEADS TO ARREST

Cottonwood police obtained a search warrant for a residence in downtown Cottonwood, and upon executing it, they found a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a stolen street sign and a stolen police badge from Jacksonville, Florida. 32-year-old Angela Gilmore of Cottonwood was later arrested and charged with possesion of marijuana second degree, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She has since been released from jail on bond, but additional charges in the case are still pending.
