breaking news
77 year old Irene Jones of Enterprise is accused of trying to bribe officers, and apparently this isn`t the first time she has faced such charges.
It all began when she called the jail and offered authorities 200 dollars to release Joan Vroblick, a friend of hers who was being held on various charges. Deputies refused the bribe, but then had Vroblick call Jones back and arrange for her to meet officers with the 200 dollars in exchange for her release.
When Jones arrived with the money, she was arrested and charged with two counts of bribery. Both women are being held in jail, Vroblick on an additional twenty-thousand dollar bond and Jones on two thousand dollar bond.
