ROAD WORK SEEMS TO BE HOT TOPIC

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Last week, WDHN News 18 told you that because of bad weather, the county has a backlog of more than three hundred work orders. At Monday`s County Commission Meeting, commissioners decided to take advantage of our recent sunshine and catch up on some of the work orders that could not be filled during the rainy season. They also say that the request to grant overtime to fill those orders is just what the county needs to catch up and get back on schedule. The overtime will be put in by county workers on Fridays, until the new budget begins, which will start in October. The work will be done provided the weather remains fairly dry.
