The Personnel Board held a meeting Monday, where Police Chief John White took the "Privilege of the Floor" for about five minutes. White handed each board member a typed letter regarding "Employee Pension Plans & the Retirement Systems of Alabama", as well as a booklet detailing the department`s annual accomplishments. White`s letter had a list of questions regarding pension plans, and asked the board to provide some answers, preferably in ten days, which he says will allow him to consider future employment options.
