By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
After months conducting a national search, the position of Dothan City Manager is now "officially" down from fifty three applicants to just two. Yesterday, Mark Pool, who currently serves as the City Engineer, asked that his name be pulled from the hat. This leaves two remaining candidates, former Enterprise Mayor Johnny Henderson and Jeffery J. Broughton, city manager of Henderson, Ky. Both are slated to be interviewed by the Dothan City Commission on Monday. Mayor Sowell said he was surprised and disappointed to learn of Pool`s decision.
