It`s not everyday someone wins one hundred dollars, but it happened today to a junior at Enterprise High School. Travis Phillips was recognized by Unicel, a wireless service provider, as a "High School Hero," for his commitment to volunteer community service. Unicel created the program to recognize students for their volunteer time in the community. Travis, as well as four other juniors will receive a one hundred dollar savings bond. One senior will be awarded a five hundred dollar grand prize college scholarship at the school`s spring awards ceremony. "We will also be making a five hundred dollar donation to the school that the student goes to and thats to support and ecourage volunteer activities and support the schools general fund," says Unicel Marketing Coordinator, Jennifer Cave. Travis has helped pick up trash in the community as well as volunteer with recreation departments to help out at youth football games. JANA JACOBS-REPORTER WDHN 18
