CHUCK JOHNSON, BETTER KNOWN AS "CROSS CARRIER CHUCK," HAS BEEN ACROSS AMERICA SEVEN TIMES IN THE PAST FOUR YEAR AND TODAY PASSED THROUGH DOTHAN ON HIS WAY TO THE SUNSHINE STATE OF FLORIDA. JOHNSON HAS COVERED OVER 30,000 MILES SINCE HE BEGAN HIS CROSS BEARING JOURNEY AND HAS BEEN THROUGH EVERY STATE EXCEPT ALASKA AND HAWAII. HIS CROSS IS 12 FEET LONG, 6 FEET WIDE AND WEIGHS ABOUT TWENTY POUNDS.
