Sheila Bailey teaches 9th grade at Enterprise Junior High School. She teaches "Computer Applications" and has been teaching for 5 years. Students are learning how to design web pages, along with how to use word processing, powerpoint and spreadsheets. She believes she is helping prepare them for future jobs.
"My class rates up there with all the other subjects. I use to teach English and it`s the very similar skills and they will need this class for their future," she said.
Bailey`s students enjoy her class and appreciate her teaching style.
Cierria Glover describes her as being "extremely patient". She says, "she will stop and help you if you are lost or don`t understand,".
Kyle Gibson agrees with Glover and also added "she`s pretty,".
Students not only see Ms. Bailey as their teacher, they also see her as a friend.
"When my students leave Enterprise Junior High, they know that we also care about them as people. They can always come talk to me,".
Congratulations Ms. Bailey!! You are this weeks "Golden Apple Award" winner!
