By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Most of downtown Dothan was without electrical service for about an hour Thursday morning after a wiring short shut the power down. Work crews made temporary repairs to get electricity restored to most of the affected area but a small region in the area of West Newton Street was without electricty for a longer period of time. The outage appears to have contributed to a head-on collission on Montana Street. A taxi and another vechile wrecked but no serious injuries were reported.
