ADMINISTRATIVE MEETING AGENDA Tuesday, September 30, 2003 Following City Commission Meeting ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH WAID MCNAMARA PARRISH ARCHITECTURE, INC. FOR THE DIXIE DEPOT RENOVATION. The City of Dothan, Wiregrass Transit Authority, and Landmarks Foundation, Inc. met and evaluated the two submitted proposals, from Donofro and Associates and Waid McNamara Parrish. Based on their firm`s previous work on this project, Waid McNamara Parrish scored higher on the evaluation. ASPLUNDH CONTRACT EXTENSION. Asplundh has been working in the northwest section of Dothan since April 2003 upgrading the electrical distribution lines to bring them into compliance with code clearances. The majority of the work has been completed, but there is still a substantial area to cover. This will require four months to complete the upgrades, which will require an additional $100,000 to cover the cost. SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT WITH THE DOROTHY QUICK SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER. This is a contract between the City of Dothan and the Dorothy Quick Senior Citizens Center for a twelve month period. The agreement allows the City to allocate $10,000 to the Center from the Community Development Block Grant (CDGB) Program. The funds will be used to assist the Dorothy Quick Senior Citizens Center in meeting its operational cost and is an eligible expenditure under regulations governing the CDGB Program.
