FABIAN COULD BECOME MAJOR HURRICANE

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The storm is gaining strength as it moves westward well out to see. However, weather forecasters at the National Hurricane Center say Fabian could gain intensity through the weekend and could become a hurricane in the next few days. The storm is still far out to see and a future track is uncertain. However, forecaster say the current track of the storm would take it toward Florida and/or the Gulf of Mexico though it would be days before Fabian reaches the U.S. mainland.
