IMRPOVEMENTS TO NORTHCUTT FIELD

The Dothan Leisure Services department has taken some steps to insure safety of spectators who attend sporting events at Northcutt Field. The improvements include designation of aisles with non-skid surfaces in the bleachers and ushers to help spectators get around the the bleachers. But this is only a quick-fix for this week`s football game. Leisure Services Director Ann Rumble says new bleachers should be in place next week. She said injuries have been few over the years at the sporting facility but quickly admits she would like to see the number at zero.
