LOCAL MAN CHARGED WITH RAPE AND BURGLARY

A Houston County man has been charged with rape and burglary following an incident in Gordon. Sheriff Lamar Glover says 39-year old Donald Ray Richardson is being held on $100-thousand bond. Richardson is accused of forcing his way into the victim`s home and raping her before fleeing in his vehicle. A description of the car lead to Richardson`s arrest. The victim was treated at a Dothan hospital.
