Updated: January 7, 2009
It happened shortly before noon Tuesday at the Choctawhatchee River. A woman apparently lost control of her vechile, it struck a guard rail, and then flipped. The eastbound lanes of the highway had to be closed while workers freed the woman from the wreckage and cleared the highway. Luckily, the injuries to the victim were generally minor. She suffered lacerations and contusions from the accident.
