TIDWELL WINS DISTRICT SIX

Philip Tidwell has won the race for District Six Dothan City Commissioner. Tidwell defeated retired city engineer Gary Martin handily. The final vote count showed Tidwell with 1,106 votes while Martin received 631 votes. The two men were the top vote getters in the primary held July 8th and Tidwell will replace long-time commissioner Matt Bullard who failed to make the runoff. Tidwell will take the oath of office in October.
