Roy Edward Jones

Mr. Roy Edward Jones of Enterprise, AL passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 67.

            Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise with Rev. Donnie Earles officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1 until 2 pm.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to American Heart Association, Greater Southeast Affiliate, P.O.             Mr. Jones was born December 26, 1945 in Covington County, AL to the late Fletcher C. and Jessie Mae Jackson Jones.  He was an accomplished carpenter and wood craftsman and could do anything with his hands.  He attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Hall.

            Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Clara Jean Ward Jones, Enterprise; children: Dustin Edward Samuel Jones, Enterprise, Calvin R. Jones, Daytona Beach, FL, Vicky Mace (Kenneth), Samson, AL, Samantha Mims, Samson, Donnie White (Louise), Samson, Chris White (Wanda), Samson; 1 brother, Ray Jones (Thelma); 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
