By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Runoffs will be held in Districts Two and Six. John Glanton, a 30-year veteran of the Dothan City Commission, will face Amos Newsome in District Two. Glanton finished first in the July 8th balloting but Newsome received enough votes to force the runoff. Tommy Corbett finished thrid. Meanwhile, in District Six the runoff is between Philip Tidwell and Gary Martin. Those two men finished ahead of a five-man pack two weeks ago. Polls will open at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday and close at 7:00 p.m.
