Winn F. Box, 70, of Treasure Island passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
Mr. Box was born and raised in Tampa, he was an Insurance representative for 40 years. Locally Mr. Box was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ, the Breakfast Optimist Club and the Old Salt's Fishing Club.
Mr. Box is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gwen; a brother, William Wyatt Box; two nieces, April Slaughter and Kim Russell; step-sister, Arlene Bond, Fort Worth, Texas. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10 from 1:30 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at Northwest Church of Christ 6355 - 38th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33710. Interment will be in Cottonwood, Alabama with Sunset Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gulf Coast Christian School 6355 - 38th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33710.
Interment will be at Clayton Cemetery, Cottonwood, AL on Wednesday, March 13th at 2 p.m.
Friends can call or visit at the host home of Bob & Sophia Clemmons (334-794-7922) 2609 Radcliff, in Dothan from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
