Mrs. Laura Jean Hinkle of Geneva, Alabama passed away Monday March 11, 2013. She was 91.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Stacy Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Enterprise with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.
Mrs. Hinkle was born January 16, 1922 in Carbon Hill, Ohio to the late Jock and Blanch Batman.
In addition to her parents her husband, John Hinkle and a great-granddaughter, Jessica "Sissy" Seay preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Brownell (Jeff); two grandchildren: Laura Giangrande and Sandra Ann Brown all of Geneva; two great-grandchildren, Jared Oneal Seay (Misty), Geneva and Justi Giangrande, Michigan; two great-great-grandchildren: Jesikah and Jaxson Seay; other extended family and friends.
