Hilda A. Windham

Mrs. Hilda A. Windham of Enterprise passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Enterprise. She was 101. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Daleville Baptist Church with Rev. Judd Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in the Daleville City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise on Monday from 6 until 8pm. The body will be placed into the church 1 hour before service time.  Flowers will be accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Daleville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Windham was born May 20, 1911 in Coffee County to the late Jess and Mittie Jane Knight Speigner. She was a member of the Daleville Baptist Church. Her husband, Hildard Windham and daughter, Grazia W. Smith preceded her in death.

Survivors include 1 son: Jessie Windham and his wife Pat, Chancellor, AL, 1 sister: Florence Bean, Atlanta, GA, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
