Joan Beckham Speed

Joan Beckham Speed of New Brockton, AL, formerly of Pensacola Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the family residence. She was 80.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Marvin Chapel Assembly of God.
Mrs. Speed was born March 20, 1932 in Coffee County, AL to the late Ople and Callie Belle McCall Beckham. She had been a member of Marvin Chapel AOG and Gulf Breeze Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Ray Beckham; 2 sisters, Faye Marie Dean, Jimmie B. Avrett; son-in-law, Gary Henderson.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Harold Speed, New Brockton; 2 daughters: Jill Speed Owens Henderson, Jan Speed Chapman (Don), Pensacola Beach, FL; 1 son, James Harold "Jim" Speed (Patti), Pensacola, FL; 1 brother, Bennie C. Beckham (Geraldine), Enterprise, AL; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
