Josephine Trammell (Jo) Ethridge

Josephine Trammell (Jo) Ethridge, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday afternoon, March 7, 2013, at her home. She was 70.
In honor of Jo's wishes, a private graveside service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Gardens of Memory with Pastor Ruth Jones officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL 36303.
Jo Ethridge was a native of the Blackwood Community of Dale County but was reared in Headland, daughter of the late William Crawford (Son) Trammell and Cattie Smothers Trammell. She lived Dothan most of her adult lifetime where she was employed by Roney's IGA for many years. Jo was preceded in death by a brother, Benny Charles Trammell.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Bobby Ray Ethridge, Dothan; a daughter, Cassandra (Sandy) Ethridge Vinson, Dothan; a son, Jeff Ethridge and wife, Diane, Avon, AL; seven grandchildren, Chris Rogers, Bobby Ethridge (Amy), Dusty Ethridge (Shannon), Craig Rogers (Jerilee), Travis Lee, Stacy Lee and Miranda Smith; several great-grandchildren.
