Auburn Baseball Plays Host To Brown In Final Non-Conference Weekend

The Auburn baseball team will play host to Brown for a three-game series this weekend at Plainsman Park. Friday's first pitch is set for 6pm while Saturday's game will begin at 3pm. The series finale starts at 1pm on Sunday.
Playing in its final non-conference weekend series, Auburn is 9-3 after Tuesday night's Capital City Classic win over Alabama. Freshman Jordan Ebert brings a 10-game hitting streak into the weekend, which is tied for the fifth-longest in the SEC this season, while senior Garrett Cooper has hit safely in each of the last seven games.
Auburn will start left-hander Daniel Koger (0-0, 2.08 ERA) on Friday and lefty Michael O'Neal (3-0, 2.16) on Saturday. Sunday's starter has yet to be determined.Brown (1-3) will start three right-handers, beginning with Anthony Galan (0-0, 3.00) on Friday, Dave St. Lawrence (0-0, 2.16) on Saturday and Kevin Carlow (0-1, 5.14) on Sunday.
Auburn and Brown have met once before on the diamond, with Auburn sweeping a four-game series in 2009 at Plainsman Park.
Friday is Foursquare Friday when fans can check in at Plainsman Park on Foursquare for the chance to win a prize from Auburn baseball. On Saturday there will be Tiger Trivia while on Sunday there will be a post-game autograph session.
