Mary Louise Ellis of Slocomb passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in Signature Healthcare of North Florida. She was 79.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2013 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Rev. Dan Raley officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home of Hartford. The family will receive friends at the home of Tom Ellis, 761 Marion Road, Slocomb, AL immediately following the services.
Mrs. Ellis was a member of the First Baptist Church in Slocomb.
She is survived by her husband, Don Ellis; two sons, Joseph (Eva) Timberlake, and Thomas C. (Jo Lin) Ellis; two daughters, Carol (Brian) Goulet, and Joyce (Bill) Jordan; six grandsons; six granddaughters; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Stone, and Margaret Izzo.
